We check upload bandwidth early, because video clips on a thin uplink arrive late or not at all. The central station is your choice. IPS works with monitoring partners and configures the system to deliver what that station needs.

Around-the-clock alarm monitoring comes from a central station you contract with directly. IPS does not monitor alarm signals or video and does not dispatch police. When comparing stations, ask whether they are UL-listed, whether they support video verification from your recorder, how they handle backup, and what their false-alarm procedure is. Separately, IPS's NOC monitors the health of your security devices and fixes faults under your maintenance contract.

Yes. The platforms we install can manage many sites from one system, and the central station sees each site as its own account. The mistake we see in multi-site rollouts is inconsistency: different zone naming, different call lists, and different camera standards at each branch. Start small: agree an intrusion and video standard in about three months (zone names, coverage per zone, contact procedures), then roll it out.

Yes, when the existing equipment still meets your needs. Many sites have a working intrusion panel and a separate camera system that were never connected. Linking them can be cheaper than replacing both. Sometimes it is not: an old recorder that cannot export clips, or a panel that cannot report over IP. The assessment tells you which case you are in before you spend money.

Support options include service and repair calls, and Support Programs with two preventative maintenance visits per contract year, priority remote and onsite support, and a documented service history. Standard hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding company holidays; after-hours work costs extra. Once a year, test every alarm point, the link to your central station, and battery health. And keep your call list current.

Pricing is based on the number of devices and the services in the quote. We build the quote after a scope review, usually during a site assessment, since camera count, mounting, cabling, and network work drive cost.
