Be clear about which job matters most at your site. A system built mainly for investigations needs good retention and easy export. One built for live viewing needs sensible camera groupings and a workstation someone actually uses.

Yes. We support new facilities and upgrades alike. We look at what's already there: cameras, cabling, switches, and recorders. If existing infrastructure meets your needs, we reuse it. We also check ceiling access, conduit, and where the IDFs are, because in older buildings the cable path often decides where a camera can go more than the ideal view does.

A single site with modest camera counts often does fine with an NVR appliance. Several sites, or a need for central management and integrations, usually point to a VMS on servers. Hosted video suits organizations that don't want to run servers and have the upload bandwidth to support it. The deciding factors are camera count, sites, retention, and IT involvement. RAID storage, dual power supplies, or a spare recorder each add cost.

We monitor its health. Our Network Operations Center uses probes and an application on your video server to check that devices are online and recording, with cybersecurity controls in place. You get smart dashboards and nearly immediate notifications, and we troubleshoot through your maintenance contract. IPS does not watch live video or dispatch police. That requires a separate monitoring provider.

Our assessment is obligation-free. We walk the property, review your current system, and identify risks and coverage gaps, then give you a plan. It's worth doing when you're opening or renovating a building, when repairs keep piling up, after an incident where footage was missing, or when you've inherited a system nobody documented. Note that it is a security review, not a code compliance inspection.

Yes. We handle dropping feeds, poor display images, and recorder faults. Service is billed time-and-material at then-prevailing rates and scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding company holidays. After-hours work is available at additional charge. We were once asked to testify about missing footage from an old camera we had flagged as failing, so we'll say when replacement is the better spend.

Yes. Support Programs include two preventative maintenance visits per contract year, with database metrics and performance analysis, and priority response for remote and onsite support. You also get a documented history of the system and pre-recorded training. If you add analytics, budget time to tune them. Alerts nobody acts on, or that fire constantly, get ignored fast.

Pricing follows a scope review or site assessment and is based on the number of devices and the services required. If more devices are installed than the quote covers, the price changes accordingly.
