Most integration problems we see start at the door. The fire alarm contractor and the access contractor each assume the other handles release, and nobody tests it until the fire marshal does. We start with a door-hardware survey, map every interface between fire, access, video and intrusion, and confirm requirements with your AHJ before shutdown windows are booked. In occupied buildings we phase work so life-safety systems stay in service. At handover you get as-built drawings, an interface list and trained staff.

It means your fire alarm, access control, video and intrusion systems share the events that matter. The most common link is door release: when the fire alarm activates, electrified locks on egress paths let go. Another is an intrusion or door-forced alarm calling up the nearest camera.
