Most fire alarm schedule problems come from outside the installation: late plan review, ceiling work that clashes with other trades, or an interface nobody listed. We settle those early. We confirm the permit and inspection path with the local fire authority, agree who holds the monitoring contract, and list every interface in the design. IPS does not inspect for code compliance unless the quote says so, and the fire marshal may add requirements, so we plan time for that review.
