A commercial alarm installer surveys the building, designs zones and sensor locations, installs the panel, sensors, and communicator, programs users and schedules, and connects the system to the central station you choose. A good one tests every zone with you, leaves as-built documentation, and plans a yearly test of every point, the batteries, and the signal path to the central station. IPS can also tie in access control and video.
